This fun-filled event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Central Park. Ceremonial events from the main stage will include Mayor’s welcome and Winter Park Green School Grant award presentations.

“Earth Day in the Park” will provide fun for all ages including a kid’s zone with games, art projects, and tie-dye t-shirts; live music all day long; art contest; child and adult Yoga; composting info with free composter to the first 100 attendees; bike rodeo with helmet fitting, safety checks and obstacle course for ages 5 and up; food & beverage vendors, electric car show, and much more! In celebration of Arbor Day, certified arborists from the city’s Urban Forestry Division will be on site to answer questions and give away an assortment of one-gallon containerized trees for city residents to plant at home.

Earth Day in the Park is presented by the city’s Sustainability Program, Urban Forestry Division, and Keep Winter Park Beautiful, and sponsored by COVANTA, Rollins College, Zipcar, and Panera.
