Enjoy this mid day break with an asana flow designed to reinvigorate and stretch the body and soul. This all-levels class will begin with a short pranayama (breathing exercise) to center us in our breath and bring the focus inward. We will then warm up the body and get the blood flowing with a few rounds of sun salutations (Surya Namaskar) and a series of standing postures. In the second half of class we will focus on stretching out our muscles by opening up through the neck, shoulders, spine, hips, and hamstrings. During final relaxation you are encouraged to relax completely in svasana (corpse pose) and effortlessly enter into a deep quietude and stillness.
