YOU WILL LEARN
About Micro Controllers.
Learn about the Arduino Uno
Introduction to the Arduino platform
Crash course in electronic components.
Get an introduction to Ohm’s Law
build a simple circuit on a solder less prototyping breadboard using an LED and other components.
upload a program to the controller from a PC or Mac, that will make the LED flicker like a real candle flame.
You will learn about using LEDs and resistors.
About digital circuits and binary numbers.

SKILL LEVEL / PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this class but you must bring your own laptop (Windows or MAC) and know how to install programs and operate the computer. The computer must have an available USB port.

MATERIALS PROVIDED
We will provide the Arduino Uno compatible development board.
Prototyping Breadboard.
Circuit components (LEDs, Resistors, wires, etc…).
USB Programming Cable.
Multi meter.
