Andrea Canny will kick off the Monday Night Cabaret Series at The Abbey October 5 at 8 p.m. with What a Difference a Year Makes! sharing songs and stories of the journey of healing a broken ankle, a broken heart and allowing her future to begin.

Canny has been in the entertainment business for more than 30 years. She opened the Beauty and the Beast, Live On Stage show in the role of Belle at Disney's MGM Studios in 1991 and has performed with such musical theatre and television greats as Jerry Orbach, Lea Salonga, Davis Gaines, Robby Benson, Betty White, and Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her Orlando credits include such Orlando Philharmonic productions as Guys and Dolls (Miss Adelaide), Carousel (Nettie Fowler), and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Miss Jones). Other local credits include Lizzie Borden in Lizzie Borden, Belle/Little Mermaid/Snow White in DISENCHANTED! and EBJ in Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody. Look for her upcoming recurring role on Nickelodeon's new show, WITS Academy, starting Oct. 5th!

Tickets $12 in advance, $15 at the door, and $60 for all six Monday Night Cabaret fall shows.
