We were all shaken very hard on November 13 by the terrorist attacks in Paris. Live music is what we live for. Had I lived in Paris, I would have been at the Eagles of Death Metal show at The Bataclan Venue. I would been in the middle of that senseless act of violence, where 89 innocent lives were taken. When we heard the news, we knew we had to do something. This is the Shows I Go To family standing together to fight for what we love.

We came up with and idea for a benefit art show called “Shows We Went To.”

The evening will feature over 150 different high-resolution printed photos for sale (easy-to-frame 11″ x 14″) from this year in live music, re-lived through the eyes and lens of our incredibly gifted SIGT Concert Photographers. All photos will be mounted on posterboard and protected in clear vinyl bags. These will make great Holiday gifts for any music lover!

Individual prints will be $25.

Proceeds from all art sales will go to Secours populaire Françai, a non-profit dedicated to fighting poverty and discrimination, who, since the attacks, have provided aid to the affected families.

Credit Cards, Cash, and Venmo will be accepted for art prints.

Local indie rock folksters The States will be taking the stage (that’s actually a floor) at 10:45 p.m. They’ve just released their first single, “Cruel As Youth,” and will warm your heart on this (probably) not cold winter night. Our friend and SIGT family member Dizzlephunk will provide additional jams throughout the night, check his new mixtape, 'Space Phunk Booty Junk'.

This event is free but we are accepting cash donations at the door. Whatever you choose to give will serve as additional aid to the citizens of Paris.
