SocialRAIN 2015! | The Dana McFadden Benefit Saturday, March 14th 2014 7:00PM till 2AM (band starts at 8PM) SocialRAIN, now in it's 5th fantastic year, started at the Amway Center on the 180 Grey Goose Rooftop reaching approx. 1,000 fun people (plus or minus) every year. From Naked Sushi to Mimes, Stiltwalkers and Sexy Fashion Shows, SocialRAIN touches the hearts and souls of many. SocialRAIN WORKS LIKE THIS... I start by inviting just the people that I know that LOVE to have a good time. Not everyone I know, but just the most fun people that steer away from drama. But then I take it 1 step further... I tell everyone that I invite to do the same thing with their list of friends... Don't invite everyone you know but DO invite ALL the ones that you know LOVE to have a fun time and enjoys a great party... THEN... Your friends get to do the same exact thing! Their job is to invite ALL THEIR GOOD FRIENDS ... and they, as well get to do the same thing and so on and so on and so on! (Really cool, huh?) THE RESULT... The result is a party that is comprised of the ALL the fun and energetic people that are around us. The energy is so strong and amazing that you can totally feel the difference... At the first year's event, I had people coming up and telling me that they have never felt such positive energy ever before! I thought it was jsut me feeling it and in that moment, I knew I was on to something. It's amazing and something that YOU have to simply experience! It's literally "Raining" fun, social people... "SocialRAIN! AND because it always happens in March... it's also a time when fun loving Pisces come together to play and celebrate birthdays. It's a very energetic and positive adventure the persons born under this very fun zodiac sign leads! (You have no idea!) We definitely want them there! ________ THIS YEAR IS A CELEBRATION OF LIFE! We have a very special guest. Someone that got a New Years gift that she wasn't looking for, nor wanted. Our very Special Guest, Dana McFadden went to the doctor for a migraine headache and came away 10 days later with 2 emergency surgeries for a very, very aggressive cancer that is trying to invade her brain. Either way, SocialRAIN is all about having FUN! Most importantly, please come and participate because all of the performers, vendor and sponsors are donating their time, profits and even portion of food and drink cost to Dana as well. ABOUT THIS YEARS VENUE! + LIVE ENTERTAINMENT + AMAZING SILENT AUCTION ITEMS + DRINK & FOOD SPECIALS + ART DISPLAYS + VENDOR TABLES (some spots still available.,) This year, we are setting up 20' wide outdoor stage with sound system on the lawn at the new Mills Park, between the new Segafredo Espressio Cafe and Ultra Rooftop Lounge and the new Brass Taps! Going to be their first of many outdoor events in this space. Happy to announce that the very popular and amazing "Room 2" band that plays authentic 80's and 90's covers so superbly has already committed for the main stage. Others acts are confirming this week and we will update this page as they get in the lineup.. An array of other artist and talent will be announced as soon as wee can get everyone's schedule worked out. (We still have a couple of spot open and room for some additional musicians and artist. An array of very cool vendor will be on site and vendors will be donating some sort of proceeds to the event at their discretion. PURCHASE WRIST BANDS... Tables will be set up to purchase wrist bands that shows that you donated. It is not required to attend, only suggested and requested.) Purchasing a wrist band will get you special discounts with designated vendors and sponsors. For example, with wrist band, Segafredo will donating $1.00 for each mixed drink you purchase!
