Sierra Club Central Florida Group says
"Solar Co-ops, Empowering Property Owners to Kickstart Florida's Clean Energy Future"

In 2015, a small group of volunteers in Orange County, facilitated the state's first formal solar co-operatives for homeowners.

The founders, Mary Dipboye & Michael Cohen, will share the story of how they partnered with a Washington DC non-profit, Community Power Network, to launch these co-ops that resulted in 160+ members and thousands of panels being installed at a very significant savings.

Also, they will share plans for the expansion of the co-ops beyond Orange County and how solar co-ops can help forge Florida's clean energy future.

Please join us this evening, to learn more about this excellent topic, and how we can further move away from fossil fuels, and toward clean renewables.
