Preparation for form includes basic breath work like Sung Gung (relaxing exercise), Qi Gung or meditation. Form will be experienced then students will be educated about body mechanics, setting intention, and learning more of the 60 movements and postures. After form has been worked with the class will then move onto applied Tai Chi Chuan with Push-hands. Students will have a chance to spare (Tai Chi Chuan push-hands) with other students, senior students, and teachers. Push-hands shows the practitioner any mental, physical, or spiritual tension on has in a safe and non-aggressive environment. The class ends with open discussion, questions and answers.
