The Fundamentals Of Permaculture says
The Fundamentals of Permaculture is an introductory class on the principles, ethics, and practices that compose the philosophy.

We will explain the importance of Permaculture; not just in our gardens, but in our lives and society as a whole. We will be using visual aid to show some prime examples of permaculture in action from places in Central Florida and around the world. We will elaborate on the concepts of companion planting and guilds so that our gardens can be more resilient to invaders. This is a class for people to learn the foundation of this practice and to grow as gardeners.

This class is held Saturday March 26th, 10-4 pm. Tuition is $75.

Please review for our school's tuition and cancellation policies.

Instructor Michele Bumbier is a permaculture practitioner with a background in horticulture.
She works frequently with herbalism, pollinators, and Florida Native plants. Her passion for bridging the gap between society and Nature began in 2012 when she intuitively created her first garden. The rewards were not just edible, but spiritual. This activated her desire to teach others about the endless benefits of gardening.
Michele has cultivated a strong spiritual practice communicating with Nature through intentional gardening. She uses her intuition to create and install permaculture landscapes that provide peace of mind to the resident, an abundance of food, and a special sanctuary for reconnecting with Earth. She has installed numerous organic gardens for various clients. She works extensively with children as well, teaching them the importance of protecting and honoring Nature. Michele is currently working on various permaculture installations, furthering her path in herbalism, and making medicinal remedies from her gardens.
