Put yourself in the center of the downtown action at Kimpton Rowan, where their hotel rooftop has been transformed into an intimate dining room, patio, and bar within 4 Saints, which is adjacent to an incredible pool area—each boasting nearly 360-views of the valley’s rugged mountains. Make an early dinner reservation to fully appreciate the view from the patio or an indoor table next to a window. The menu has a nice variety to fit a diverse group’s many tastes, but for larger entrees, steaks are the way to go here – there’s a prime filet with a cabernet reduction and a wagyu flatiron with housemade steak sauce. Don’t skip the corn agnolotti appetizer; in fact, you may want multiple orders of this crowd pleaser. The stuffed pasta is made with Dungeness crab, truffle, hazelnut butter, and Parmesan cheese for a savory start to dinner. If you’re a whiskey drinker, look no further than the Highway III Old Fashion cocktail made with date-infused bourbon for a sweet sipper. The only oddity here is that the restaurant shares a bathroom with the nearby pool, inconveniently accessed from the outdoor pool deck that may have some soggy remnants from swimmers. Complimentary valet parking is available at the hotel with restaurant validation, which can come in handy when the weekend visitors flock to Palm Canyon Drive for a night on the town.
