Time Out says

Well known in France for his beach and harbour scenes, Eugène Boudin anticipated Monet, being one of the first Impressionists to take his paint pots out into the open air to capture natural beauty in situ. The collection of almost 60 paintings, watercolours and drawings on show at the Musée Jacquemart-André retraces his travels, from Honfleur in Normandy to Venice.
