Tilda Swinton is no stranger to Paris. The previous two editions of the Festival d'Automne saw her take to the stage in a pair of experimental one-woman shows, directed by the Musée Galliera's director Olivier Saillard, that gently sent up the tropes of the fashion industry. This year, she teams up once again with Saillard for the third installment. In 'Cloakroom', that most functional of spaces becomes the focal point of a curious high-concept piece: the audience is invited to hand over coats and jackets, which Swinton then puts on and parades like a parody of a catwalk model. Don't worry – your frocks will be returned at the end.
