It's testament to the strength of their catchy post-punk songs that Juveniles only needed a few months and an EP to become famous. Listen to 'We Are Young' and 'Hard Working Girl', and you'll hear the Smiths and Talking Heads influences from the get-go; but the Rennes-based duo are more than '80s-loving copycats, as their imaginative self-titled album (produced by Yuksek) attests. Catch them at Le Bus Palladium on February 27.
