Agathe Bouton has been busy since leaving her native Paris at age 14: She’s lived and exhibited her work in England, Burma, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Turkey—all before settling in exotic Pennsylvania. Here, she is inspired by Philadelphia’s historic urban fabric and interprets images of buildings using modern approaches to the traditional mediums of engraving and printmaking.
