It’s not every day that you can peek at a collection of white dolls, amassed over a period of 20 years, from local artist and Temple alum Trenton Doyle Hancock. In an exhibition commissioned by Temple Contemporary, Hancock then creates a new set of dolls inspired by both his own collection and black dolls from the nearby Philadelphia Doll Museum.
