When world-renowned contemporary artist William Kentridge draws on the pages of dictionaries and encyclopedias, it’s allowed—and exhibited. This show presents 79 illegible pages, all covered with printed linocut images (of typewriters, birds, and coffee pots) for which the interdisciplinary South African artist is known.
