Celebrating David Bowie

Celebrating David Bowie comes to Philly—just a month after we celebrated Philly Loves Bowie week around the anniversary of Bowie’s death. The show promises an evening of career-spanning Bowie covers—from Space Oddity to Blackstar—and was created with a single question in mind: ”What would a David Bowie concert look like if he were to put one on today?” If anyone would know, it would be the show’s creators and performers—folks who worked with the Starman throughout his career such as touring and recording keyboardist Mike Garson; guitarist and vocalist Adrian Belew, who traveled with Bowie on his Sound & Vision Tour; and guitarist Gerry Leonard from the A Reality Tour. They’ll take center stage along with a rotating list of musicians and speical guests.
