These indie-pop darlings have a strong Philly connection, with spunky frontwoman Michelle Zauner playing with Little Big League and other bands in the area for a bunch of years. They’ve since left us, it seems, but every show in town is a homecoming of sorts. Japanese Breakfast’s most recent record, the moody and groovy Sounds from Another Planet, dropped last summer.
