10 awesome shots from the Zombies show at Scottish Rite Auditorium

Still going strong nearly 60 years after forming as English schoolboys, legendary rock group the Zombies played a stellar Saturday night show at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood. With original members Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent leading the way, this was a rockin’ time machine that turned out hit after hit among other gems for a warm audience.

Opening with Bo Diddley’s “Road Runner” and ripping into hits by Argent’s post-Zombies band, Argent, like “Hold Your Head Up,” the band gave us a 17-song set list of some of the finest rock songs to ever be produced. Playing alongside Blunstone and Argent were Tom Toomey on guitar and Steve Rodford on drums, along with new bassist Søren Koch, who replaced the recently deceased Jim Rodford last month.
