Lately we’ve been seeing signs of summer approaching all over the place—from the opening of all your favorite beer gardens and rooftop bars to outdoor festivals like the big one happening this weekend on South Street. But we’re still missing at least one big staple of the season: outdoor movies! But not for long…

La Peg announced this week that it’s bringing back its popular weekly alfresco screening event, the Louis Bluver Outdoor Movie Series, in just over a month, on June 6. The flicks are shown just outside the venue, in the Haas Biergarten, which is idyllically situated beneath the twinkling Benjamin Franklin Bridge and just across the street from Race Street Pier.

Films begin every Wednesday at 8:30pm—which gives you just enough time to freshen up after work before heading over for the movie, beer, $10 themed cocktails and a picnic-inspired menu of char-grilled burgers and more summertime grub.

The film lineup was curated by FringeArts’ Catherine Haas and features a particular theme each month: In June, look out for iconic high school movies such as Mean Girls and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; July is 1990s action flicks like Con Air and The Fifth Element; and August is all about those nostalgic summer camp-inspired classics, like The Parent Trap and Moonrise Kingdom. Check out the full schedule below, which highlights what films are playing and the themed cocktails the bartender will be cranking out that night.

June 6: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, paired with The Reverse Ferrari (watermelon-cucumber lemonade with vodka)

June 13: Can’t Hardly Wait, paired with Jungle Juice (vodka and rum with lime, triple sec, curacao and cranberry juice)
