New Wave Cafe

Not to be mistaken for the Queen Village sports bar of the same name, this late-night spot is a go-to for comfort food in Port Richmond. In the dining room—festooned with mirrors and a disco ball—guests will find a menu of hearty Polish fare such as stuffed cabbage and sauerkraut, kielbasa, red and white borscht and a variety of pierogi (the deep-fried and boiled versions are particularly delicious). The full bar is open each night till 2am and includes a selection of beers from Polish breweries like Warka and Żywiec.
