In fall 2015, local restaurateurs and jazz experts Robert and Benjamin Bynum debuted SOUTH, located just a five-minute drive from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. In this state-of-the-art jazz parlor, customers can listen to live tunes from local and nationally renowned musical artists while sipping more than fifty American whiskeys, ten draft beers, barrel-aged cocktails and infused spirits. SOUTH also includes a separate bar and lounge area, as well as a kitchen that cooks up southern goodies like hushpuppies and fried green tomatoes.

SOUTH will feature three distinct spaces: an inviting Dining Hall, a state-of-the-art Jazz Parlor and a comfortable Bar and Lounge
The Dining Hall will serve vibrant new southern fare and weekly seasonal features of products indigenious to the south.
The Jazz Parlor will be outfitted with a state-of-the-art digital sound system and will feature local and national jazz performances six nights a week
The Bar and Lounge will offer a playful, abbreviated menu of southern snacks and shared plates, as well as a comprehensive 50-bottle American bourbon and whiskey program; beers on tap, including custom offerings, cocktails on tap, barrel-aged and bottle-conditioned cocktails and infused spirits as well as punch bowls and wines on tap.
