This gorgeous musical—based on Alison Bechdel’s searingly honest graphic memoir—is by turns funny and heartbreaking. Though it toured recently, Arden’s adaptation offers a new director, Terrence J. Nolen, fine Philly actors (Mary Tuomanen, Kim Carson, Ben Dibble) and the opportunity to see it in the round at an intimate venue.
