The Media Theatre

You will sometimes find straight plays at the Media Theatre—stuff like Romeo and Juliet and The Miracle Worker were among recent season offerings—but the emphasis is on musicals, often lavishly produced, and ranging from classics to contemporary works. Media (less than 20 miles west of Center City) is often a good place to bring kids who love the theater—many shows are family-friendly, and the company also offers classes.
