A new Christopher Durang play is always cause to rejoice, and this one—about our never-ending news cycle, alternative facts and interactions with friends and family—sounds deliciously in his wheelhouse. If the quality of recent productions plays a role, we’re surely in for a big event: Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, the last Durang work to premiere at McCarter, was a smash hit that won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play.
