3 Books In 3 Hours!

Come on out to The Resource Exchange and learn how to make different types of books using scrap and reclaimed materials - No experience necessary! reCreate Featured Artist of February J. Pascoe will teach participants how to make and bind 3 different types of books in 3 hours. The workshop will cover a single sheet book structure (the “x fold”), a pamphlet book variation (the “two in one”), and a three signature binding with exposed sewing on the spine. If there’s time, participants could also learn variations on these techniques, like the single sheet “gate fold” book, a single pamphlet book, and a five signature binding with exposed sewing on the spine.
