He has been tickling minds with his brand of psychedelic electronic music since 2008. His extensively layered soundscapes feature instrumentation ranging from tribal drums, swirling synths, to the occasional marimba solo. His most recent album, Interabang, has been downloaded over 11,000 times in under a month, and featured on Ektoplazm, the premier source for psy-trance, techno, and down-tempo music. Supersillyus has shared the stage with luminaries like Tipper, Hallucinogen, and Ott and showcased at festivals across the US and Canada including The Big Up (Ghent, NY), Rootwire (OH), Gratifly (SC) and Open Mind (CA). I've always been into music ever since i was little. I started to play the piano at age 10 and on and off for the past couple of years. Ever since my first Bassnectar show i knew i wanted to make bass heavy music. My close friend Eric aka Brightside was also a huge inspiration for me because he picked up making music before me and everytime we would chill i would always just mess around on his midi controller and loved it everytime. After a few years of saving money i decided to go to Dubspot and buy all of the appropriate equipment and make my dreams a reality! I have producing since October 2013 using Ableton! I will release music as often i can with an official album release later this year! With a mind blooming full of musical ideas, born from a blend of psychedelia, and classical rhythm, Ludge’s sound experience takes listeners through an array of bass frequencies, glitchy breaks, and ambient layers. Versatility has always been a key point for the Ludge project, delving head-on into everything from drum & bass to downtempo- and the entire spectrum in between. With his debut “Sic” EP in March of 2014, Ludge reset the standard for an electronic release. The only consistent element is the quality of the work; no time is spent on repetitive drum kits, sound design or simple melodies.
