Bvna General Meeting: Italian Market Bid + Remapping Workshop

Time Out says

Come out and meet your neighbors! BVNA is hosting our second general meeting of 2015 on Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 pm and we've got three presentations on exciting civic goings-on in the neighborhood. First, we'll hear about the options for a bike share station in Bella Vista. It looked like BV might not get a station in the first round, due to the difficulty of finding a location with the right dimensions, so we started a conversation with the Mayor's office, and now they're coming to present some of the options. Then, we'll hear a quick presentation from Michele Gambino and Thomas Gilbertson updating the neighborhood on what's happened so far in the Italian Market business improvement district planning process. They want to hear constructive feedback from the neighborhood about what we think about the Italian Market's direction. Then the Planning Commission will be hosting a fun (really!) first workshop about updating Bella Vista's zoning. We'll lay down their proposed zoning maps of the neighborhood, and we'll all mark them up with comments and suggestions. Bella Vista is in the process of updating our zoning, and we need to hear from you. We held a well-attended information session with the Planning Commission reps earlier this year, we circulated a neighborhood survey about it, and then a few weeks ago we held a second meeting updating you on the 260+ responses we received. This meeting is a great opportunity to get involved with BVNA, sign up to volunteer with our committees, meet your neighbors, and tell us about what you're seeing in the Italian Market and in neighborhood. Here's the schedule, if you're only interested in one or two of the presentations: 7-7:30: Bike Share station location in B 7:30-8: 9th Street BID 8-8:45: Planning Commission, Re-mapping Workshop Hope to see you there!
