Fbr Fundraiser Supporting Bookin' For Lookin'

FBR supports Bookin' For Lookin'! Founder and President (also, fellow FBR/Achilles member) Mark McCowan started the organization to support blindness research and awareness. The three Bookin' for Lookin' races--8 Miler, 5K, and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run--will be held on Sunday, April 19 in Newtown, PA. StrangeLove's has generously agreed to host us for this great cause! At the bar, a $5 donation and bracelet will get you $4 pours of specially-donated beers from Victory and Saint Benjamin Brewing Co. We will also raffle off some crave-worthy prizes from Philadelphia Runner and a complimentary Bookin’ For Lookin’ race entry. Also, Gore Running Wear is donating two running jackets (medium women’s & medium men’s) to the raffle. To quote Mark, “Your support can help me, my fellow Achilles athletes, and millions of other visually-impaired and/or blind athletes/individuals, see again!” Runs start at 7pm from our Fishtown (2346 E.
