Time Out says

Connie's Ric Rac Doors 7:00pm Tickets $10 Hot Jam Factory "Hot Jam Factory is a name that stands on it's own," Mark Boeshore of Columbia Records. This musical movement is fronted by Jordan Trevino, Phil Altenburg, Cristion O'leary-Rockey, and John Chiara; with a live performance band of anywhere from 6-9 members. HJF stretches their boundaries everywhere they can, from vintage garage rock to powerful folk ballads they even reach into high energy dance. Aside from their record achievements they're known for their extravagant live performances packed with surprises and energy, you can expect to see anything from full horn sections to installation and performance art. Kid Cousin Kid Cousin is a band dedicated to writing and performing original music that shrugs off the limitations of genre constraints. Growing from the humble seeds born in the mind of its founder, Jeff Grey, Kid Cousin has bloomed into a musical endeavor capable of capturing the hearts of fans craving a pure musical experience – one of creativity, passion, and family. Comiong off their stellar November 2014 CD release, BIRTH, this Lancaster PA based band is making a very rare Philly appearence. After hearing the release in full, I can tell you personally, I'm looking forward to their set! Roi and the Secret People Renowned for their exciting live shows, Roi and the Secret People (RSP) features the beautiful and mesmerizing voice of Mike Roi. Roi, who hails from southern Florida, set out to assembled a group of talented, experienced, and like-minded musicians to create the version of rock music he was raised with. Armed with all original music, RSP has played such renowned clubs as Rockwood Music Hall and Arlene’s Grocery in New York City and The Tin Angel in Philly. I've booked Mike several times in the past, and he NEVER disappoints! Overfield. No stranger to the local music scene, Overfield has played some of the better venues in the city, with World Cafe Live and The Troc already on that list. That might not seem like much, but consider that they've only been on the scene since late 2012, and at their ages, it's pretty impressive! Hard to describe genre wise, because they tend to mix it up pretty good on stage, but they fit perfectly on this bill and I'm quite anxious for more people to hear what I'm hearing out of them. Get there early and listen! You'll see what I mean.
