Lather Hair Studio: Valentine's Locks Of Love Benefit

Need a haircut? Lather Hair Studio will be giving free "blunt cuts" to individuals donating 10 inches to Locks of Love! Don't have 10 inches of hair to cut? You can still give! Lather Hair Studios is accepting financial donations on behalf of the non-profit AND giving 50% of all hair cut proceeds directly to Locks of Love! Lisa Schaffer Photography will be taking before-and-after shots of participants, and light refreshments will be provided by Rybrew! This event is being coordinated by Every Heard as a collaboration of Philly a MUSE ment EVents ladies; Dena Epstein, Abbey Dernoga, Dierdra Davis, & Lisa Schaffer. Locks of Love is a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation that relies on donated ponytails and funds to provide hairpieces to children under 21 with medical hair loss. Most of the children we serve suffer from Alopecia Areata, a condition for which there is no known cause or cure. The hairpieces we provide are custom, vacuum-fitted cranial prostheses that are provided free of charge or on a sliding scale depending on a family’s financial need.
