More Info http://torch.ly/BQPhlRhmVH The Legendary Dobbs has been showcasing live music since 1975, and together with Philly Alternativo, proudly presents Latin Alternative Night featuring Herostreet. Herostreet - https://www.facebook.com/HeroStreetRock Herostreet is a Latin Alternative Rock band from Philadelphia, PA. The group consists of vocalist Jóse Rico, keyboards Marian Rico, drummer Milton Rico, guitarist Jorge “Fingers” Caraballo, and bassist Kenty Love. Herostreet was formed in 2005 by Colombian siblings Jóse & Milton Rico with good friend Victor Bejar. In 2008 Marian Rico, and two long time friends from Puerto Rico, Kenty Love and Jorge Caraballo joined the band. Victor then had to leave the band for personal reasons. During the early years of Herostreet, the band had been performing under the name RiKo and on July 4th, 2011 the band agreed to formally change their name from "Riko" to "Herostreet". Herostreet has earned a reputation of having to close doors at venues for attracting more people than the venues could hold and for being frequently the "talk of the town" in the Latin Media of Philadelphia, and other neighboring city markets. Herostreet made a lot of noise and landed featured reviews on the media, with interviews, televised jingles on Univision network (jingles that are still airing to this date), and airplay in radio stations in the East coast and featured reports in several of the Latino magazines and Spanish newspapers. The band entered the recording studio for the production of "Almas Desnudas" with Latin Grammy Winning Producer "Shafik Palis". The album was funded independently from the earnings of previous successful tours. Shafik Palis quickly became significant mentor to the band. Accordingly, it was in the recording studio that the "RiKo Years" culminated and the band would enter a new horizon where they could continue their path to a more creative state and a bold evolution of their songs. The band and their sound evolved into a very distinct and unique craft. On October of 2012 Herostreet released their album “Almas Desnudas” Special Edition worldwide and shortly after their released the band attracted an even faster growing international fan base. A momentum picked up through dedicated fan clubs (currently reaching the U.S, México, Puerto Rico, Spain, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador among others). At this current time the Herostreet Team continues to rise and exploder new demographics around the globe, and continues to pick up momentum. Herostreet played with various international acts such as "Los Amigos Invisibles", "Inspector", "Superlitio", "Frankie Negron", "Brito" , "Jarabe De Palo", among others. Herostreet released their music video "Todo en Ti", and demonstrated even more strength and diversity through Herostreet's new market of social medias such as Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. The band just made a move to Los Angeles, CA to expand their fan base and reach their evident growing market in the West Coast of United States. Herostreet makes optimistic, positive & romantic music and highly enjoy the process that has taken a lot of dedication. They hope to fulfill the expectations of the audience who look forward to having an unforgettable experience. But most importantly the band would like to thank those who have believed in Herostreet and who continue to follow them in every step of the way..
