Paea Special Needs In Art Education 1st Collegial Assembly

Hello Friends! We invite you to a gathering of those who are passionate about art in the special needs community. Come support each others work and research with special audiences, share feedback and ideas and be energized by a dynamic community of art educators. OUR FIRST GATHERING: February 14th Gallery Tour & Tea with Lisa Kay at the Woodmere Art Museum 1pm-2pm Tour 2pm-4pm Tea You are invited to a gallery tour and talk about the exhibition FIREFLY ILLUMINATIONS. Learn about the development of a trauma-informed creative arts curriculum. This exhibition is co-curated by the adolescent girls who created art under the guidance Lisa Kay in collaboration with Carson Valley's art therapist and art educator. After our tour we will head over to Lisa's house for a little art making, afternoon tea, and continued conversation.
