Time Out says

For a little over a year now, we've been running an art based column in the magazine called Three Round Draw. In each issue, Jon Billett of Beer Paste sits down for three rounds of beers with someone involved in the craft beer industry and talks about the parallels between craft beer and art. The artist then creates a bunch of original pieces of art to go with the article. Since we started running this column, we've been wanting to do something more with the art and bring it to life in a way, so on March 6th, we're holding our fist art show based off this column as part of first First Friday of the year in Old City. One of the first few artists interviewed was Daniel Endicott who is the owner, brewer, and artist at Forest & Main Brewing Company. If you've ever seen a bottle of Forest & Main beer or visited the brewery, you've already seen what a talented artist Dan is, not to mention an awesome brewer as well. For the first art show, we'll be featuring his work. With works on paper and canvas, the show will highlight the evolution of Forest & Main's beer labels, beer related still lives, and portraits of Dan's friends within the Philadelphia beer scene. We'll also be pouring samples of a couple of his beers. Most of the artwork will be for sale, and there will also be prints available for purchase. Is there a better way to decorate your home bar than great art by a great local brewer? **this is a free event***
