Scribe Video Center will present a special advance screening of the timely new film, 180 Days: Hartsville, followed by a "Philly Education Talkback" forum.
180 Days: Hartsville takes a fresh look at the nation's poverty and education challenges from a rural South Carolina town triumphing in the face of extraordinary challenges. The two-hour special, co-produced by South Carolina ETV (SCETV) and National Black Programming Consortium (NBPC), airs on PBS from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 17.
After the screening, we turn the conversation to Philadelphia and hear from long-term education advocates and you. Join us for an event about what works in school education and how to make it better.
