It's the February edition of the RonBomb New Music Showcase! We have an amazing lineup for you featuring Those Mockingbirds from Montclair, NJ. Twiin, Science Club, Inconsiderate Bastards and Kurt Bock will provide local support! Doors at 7:00, show starts at 8:00. $8 cover; 21+ w/ ID Those Mockingbirds The names and faces here are not what matters. What matters about Those Mockingbirds is the ingrained desire and effort to make music that resonates; music that can be felt in the pit of the stomach and above all, music that matters. It could be a distorted guitar, fluid overtones, or male and female vocals are all delicately woven together, creating moments that transition effortlessly from fragile ambience to a crushing resolve. It may seem like the pieces of the puzzle are spread all over the table while in reality they're creating a single picture that all makes sense. Twiin Despite their youth, Twiin offers a refreshing throwback sound reminscent of 60s surf rock, with a splash of pop punk. Keep your eye on these guys. Science Club Science Club used to be a Mountain Goats cover band that played in a living room. Then, it was weird folk-punk band that played 1 show every six months. Then it wasn't really anything at all. Now, it's a three-piece punk band about being a day late and a little behind. It's punk for people who are just trying to get by, punk for people who might regret their tattoos a little bit, and punk for people who want to do better, but can't. Inconsiderate Bastards A band founded by brothers Wes and Tyler Emel with a focus on meshing the styles of polarizing original musicians. The recent addition of Jake and Alex has filled out the band and allowed for more improvised jams and a superior live show. The Inconsiderate Bastards are riding high of their debut EP Bones so now is a great time to join the party! Kurt Bock South Jersey based singer songwriter. www.conniesricrac.com www.facebook.com/conniesricrac www.twitter.com/conniesricrac www.instagram.com/conniesricrac
