Saturday Fbr Run To Philadelphia Brewing Company Part 2

As you all may know our fearless leader DNA is giving up his part-time gig as the master tour guide at Philadelphia Brewing Company. For those of you that have attended one of his tours in the past they are excellent and David’s passion for PBC and their beer is evident. So for those of you that have not attended a PBC tasting and tour, specifically DNA giving the tour you still have a chance and in typical beer runners fashion we are going to turn this into a Saturday beer run to PBC. Actually we are going to do two Saturday beer runs one on the 21st (part 1) and one on the 28th (part 2) so hopefully everyone will be able to attend one of these runs. This Facebook invite is for part two. Here is the plan we are going to meet at the Love Statue (15th Street and John F. Kennedy Blvd) at 1pm and run to the brewery. The tentative route would be from the Statue head over to Arch Street and run down Arch to 2nd Street. Take 2nd to Girard Street, make a right on Girard and take that to Frankford Ave. Make a Left on Frankford Ave and take that all the way to PBC. PBC is right past York and Frankford on your left hand side. This is an approximate 4 mile route, if you want to run further we can get a group together that will run up to the Art Museum and then over to PBC. Everyone remember the tasting is free at PBC but bring some $$$ to tip the pourers with! If you need to drive you can park up by the Brewery and get on the El at the Berks Station, which is approximately half a mile from PBC. Lastly the after “party” will be at Atlantis The Lost Bar which is next to PBC and maybe DNA will join us so we can buy him some beers.
