From a young age robotics piqued Jesse's interest, eventually culminating in his staggering ability to produce heavy dubstep and riddim. Subtronics began producing in the summer of 2011 after teaching himself Reason and soon after, Ableton. His work is heavily influenced by the likes of Rusko, Bare Noize, Skream, Skism, Tomba and Downlink. Subtronics took on a core group of followers with his early productions but started to gain critical attention from his collaboration with masked producer, Snarl. This amassed support from artists including , but not limited too: TrollPhace, JPhelpz and Bommer. Subtronic's signature wonky, bouncing sound design and recognizable basses set him apart from the vast sea of up and coming producers around the world.
