Their journey began through a mutual friendship and love for classic disco and house music. Using these genres as a framework for their sets, they take inspiration from whatever groove suits the mood. Pulling from funk and disco, to classic house, Balearic and psychedelic, this duo has taken the time to understand how the dance floor has changed over the years. Both strive for the new and different, no matter how classic or current the period is in which it originated. Beginning in 2012, this young duo has set up residencies all over the city of Philadelphia. Establishing their monthly party “Try It Out” at one of the city’s most exciting venues, The Dolphin Tavern, as well as their bi-monthly party at Ortlieb’s “The Wet Boogie”. They have played with acts such as Holy Ghost!, Rory Phillips, Medlar, Moonboots, Joakim, Nancy Whang, Juan Maclean and T.Williams just to name a few. Their goal: to guide you on a journey through the decades...but be prepared...like all great journeys, there involves some element of RISK. Get (F)Risky
