Determined to impress with their “soul-core vocals . . . space age guitar . . . existential lyrical themes [and] progressive indie-pop rhythms,” the members came together a few years ago and released their debut effort, Post War Parade, in 2009. Shortly after, they released the Rugged City EP, which was based on S.E. Hinton’s novel Rumblefish.
