Time Out says

Tim Cridland AKA Zamora, the Torture King returns to Philadelphia for ONE NIGHT ONLY! Zamora The Torture King, one of the founders of the modern sideshow revival is coming to Philly on Saturday March 21st for a very intimate performance at Philly's newest sideshow and performing arts venue - The First Banana (2152 E Dauphin St in Fishtown). Tickets are $10 and show starts at 9pm. Zamora has been called "an icon in the modern day sideshow community” and "the godfather of the modern circus sideshow.” He has performed his unique 'mind-over-matter' show around the world, including a residency at one of the largest Halloween events in the world (going on 17 years in a row). Zamora is also the first sideshow performer to headline a show in a Las Vegas casino. Many have imitated his 'human pincushion' act but no one has been able to replicate the extremes Zamora reaches. The only way to see it is LIVE and IN-PERSON on March 21st in Fishtown! Check out www.astoundingshow.com for more info on Zamora's act. Joining Zamora will be a duo of female Variety Arts performers, some of the best in the Philadelphia area if not the world! These stunning ladies include: Reggie Bügmüncher - Reggie is ½ of Philadelphia’s Olde City Sideshow (not to mention manager of The First Banana) and was voted 'Burlesque Bitch of the year' for Burlesque Bitch Magazine. www.ReggieBugmuncher.com Gisella Rose - "La Pain Proof Artiste" Sideshow, Fetish & Suspension performer originally from South Africa now based in New Jersey. Known for her extreme Human Pincushion acts (skin piercing with large gauge skewers) and neo-burlesque routines mixed with classic sideshow and flesh hook suspensions, Gisella is excited to present her 'Pain Proof' skills to complement Zamora's act. www.gisellarose.com 0.4 Miles from the Market Frankford line: Berks Station Frankford & Dauphin stop on #5 bus
