Arts Advocacy 2017 says
-What does an agenda that addresses equity, accessibility & support for artists look like? Join us 11/17 to find out.-

In 2016, GPAC devised a detailed agenda for arts policies at local, state, and federal levels.
At "Arts Advocacy 2017," GPAC will present that agenda, which addresses issues of equity, accessibility, support for artists and smaller organizations, and public art, among others. We'll also engage attendees around key questions: What policy asks should take priority in 2017? What advocacy methods should be employed? We'll also consider the impacts of November's federal and state elections, plus changes in the Greater Pittsburgh arts funding picture.
Please join us, and a panel of local arts and political leaders, including Richard Hudic of the Allegheny Regional Asset District, to weigh in on these important issues and more. Additional remarks by State Rep. Jake Wheatley and Pittsburgh City Councilman Dan Gilman will also be featured.
Stay for a reception to see how YOU can be involved in advocacy.
