The Shala of Pittsburgh Ashtanga Yoga says
Have you been wanting to chant, study, build community, and get to know your fellow yogis at The Shala a little better? Welcome to our monthly Bhakti Social Hours!

Bhakti means attachment, participation, devotion to, fondness for, homage, faith or love, worship, piety to (as a religious principle or means of salvation). We as students in the Ashtanga community come together and create Bhakti within a space.

Every 3rd Sunday in October, November, and December, we will join each other in community after Mysore practice to chant, study sutras and yoga theory, and spend some time socializing with each other as well!

Whether you are a current student at The Shala or not, you are welcome to attend this monthly gathering. It's a great way to learn more about The Shala, Ashtanga Yoga, the Mysore program, and the community we have here! Please invite and/or bring friends who may be interested!!!!

Chai Tea from Lawrenceville's local tea shop Gryphon's Tea and snacks from Lawrenceville's local 52nd Street Market will be provided.

Admission is free. Small donations requested but not required to help cover costs.
