Book Reading says
In Honor of Veterans Day Week, I'm holding my first book reading in Pittsburgh. Join me at Bend Yoga where I'll read from my memoir "He Never Liked Cake," which is on if you're curious. I'll also share a little of my story and the story of how my first book inspired my second, "Move Feel Think: Yoga for Brain Injury, PTSD, and Other Forms of Trauma." Both books will be available for purchase.

*More than words, there will be some cake, some bubbly, and some time to ask any questions--or you might just be the randomly selected person who takes home this LiveOn Manduka yoga mat, shown in the picture.

Here's a little snippet of my bio if you want to know more about the voice behind the words.

Janna is the manager at Bend Yoga, a yoga studio in downtown Pittsburgh and is a Lulu Lemon Ambassador with a passion to bring the physical and mental benefits of yoga to the brain injury, PTSD, veteran, and trauma population on both local and national levels. She is an influential advocate for traumatic brain injury awareness and is frequently a guest speaker at TBI conferences sharing her experiences.

“A routine yoga practice has cognitive, emotional, and behavioral benefits that people are now recognizing,” she says. “I am simply grateful to be the vehicle to bring those who live with brain injury some slice of relief, even if it's just a viable distraction from the pain, even if it's just something new for them to focus on, even if it becomes a true catalyst into a new journey of healing.”pictured above.
