Join Café Con Leche as we celebrate the sights, sounds and dances that come from the Caribbean. As a part of the downtown gallery crawl, Katz Plaza will be transformed into an island dream!

5:30-9pm: What Does It Mean to Be a Pittsburgh Latino? An interactive art & media project by Café Con Leche. Please share your answer in a short video interview and/or by writing your answer on a paper mural.

5:30-6:15pm: Teanna Medina will perform as the Yoruba Orisha Queen, Yemaya. Dance workshop to follow performance.

6:30-9pm: – Tarot card readings.

6:15-7:00pm: Ibeji Ensemble /The repertoire will pay tribute to African cultural lineages derived from the Yoruba(Orisha) and Congo, cultures of West Africa and Haiti.

7:00-7:30pm: Latina Productions takes center stage and show us dances from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

7:30-9pm: Gena y Calle Bomba will close out the evening with a lively Puerto Rican Bomba show!

This is a free event. Appropriate for all ages!
