Carnegie Museum of Art says
For many, the Carnegie Trees Opening Celebration is the official start to the holiday season. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’ouevres, and be among the first to see this year’s edition, Holidays in the Highlands, as massive Colorado Spruce trees deck the impressive Hall of Architecture with tartan flair. Our special "guests" this year include tree decorations all the way from Skibo Castle, Andrew Carnegie’s Scotland home and current home of The Carnegie Club hotel. The trees flank the museum’s exquisite 18th-century Neapolitan Nativity scene, rare in US collections.
