PennFuture Invites You to Celebrate Clean Energy on April 29.

Who: You and the clean energy-loving folks of Pittsburgh!

Where: Millvale's phenomenal solar venues, including its new community center, library and more.

What: A sustainable, casual chic fundraiser with delicious food, libations, stories, a unique live and silent auction, and an inside look into local clean energy innovations and advancements, hosted by Pittsburgh comedian Gab Bonesso!

When: The following is a schedule for the evening:

6-7 PM: VIP Solar Garden Tea and Champagne Party, with alternative power vehicle shuttle service to ACTIVATE! Awards Celebration, Millvale Solar Library ($150 per person/$250 per couple)

7-7:30 PM: Rooftop Solar Tours, Millvale Solarized Community Center

7:30- 9 PM: ACTIVATE! Clean Energy Innovation Awards ($50 per person/$75 per couple)

Why: ACTIVATE! Western PA is flipping the switch and moving toward a carbon-free future. This fundraising event will highlight and celebrate some of the more exciting strides that communities, individuals, institutions and corporations are taking, giving you inspiration to get involved and make the switch in your own neighborhood.

ACTIVATE! Clean Energy Innovation Award Honorees:

-Robert Levin, Individual Leadership Award recipient, for his personal commitment to integrating clean energy alternatives

-Millvale, Community Leadership Award, presented to Brian Wolovich, for his vision and drive to convert community facilities to solar energy.

-Morgan O’Brien, CEO of Peoples Natural Gas, Corporate Leadership Award, for driving his company to make investments in innovation for our future

-Bill Generett, Institutional Leadership Award, for pushing the vision of clean energy and sustainable futures into the business of the Energy Innovation Center.
