The event creator says
Come support the CMU All University Orchestra as it presents its 2015 spring concert “Connections!” Led by Music Director Jeffrey Klefstad and Assistant Conductor Joel Goodloe, the program is infused with music of Spanish and French influences. Admission is free!

The program includes Paul Dukas’ "Fanfare from ‘La Peri’" to mark the 150th year of his birth, Franz Liszt’s tone poem "Les Preludes", and Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s "Capriccio Espagnol". Also featured are AUO Concerto & Aria Competition winners Ujjal Bhattacharyya (marimba) and Annie Gordon (flute), performing Emmanuel Séjourné’s "Concerto for Marimba and Strings" and Georges Hüe’s "Fantasy for Flute," as well as "Atmósfera," a composition by School of Music graduate student Daniel Arnaldos.

This performance is open to the public and lasts approximately 65 minutes, including an intermission.

The All University Orchestra is open to all CMU and University of Pittsburgh students in order to provide the opportunity for students to continue pursuing their musical interests. This organization is funded by the Department of Student Activities at Carnegie Mellon University.
