Row House Cinema says
Band of Outsiders (Bande à part) is a hugely influential film by Jean-Luc Godard, recently restored in a new digital version. We are delighted to be the Pittsburgh venue for this nationwide re-release. This film is part of our new Behind The Directors series, focusing initially on Quentin Tarantino.

We're kicking off this series with three films that shaped Tarantino - "Band of Outsiders", "Foxy Brown", "The Streetfighter" - and his debut film: "Reservoir Dogs".

Tarantino named his production company "A Band Apart" after Band of Outsiders (Bande à part). It's a French New Wave heist classic featuring Anna Karina, line dancing, and the Louvre. Godard described this film about movie-loving crooks who attempt a robbery as “Alice in Wonderland meets Franz Kafka”! Trailer: http://bit.ly/BapTrailer
