Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix says
On the first Wednesday of every month the Hofbräuhaus in Pittsburgh holds a special event to tap a new keg of bier. The keg for July is Grand Prix Pilsner – the beer that will fuel the upcoming Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix! Come early for dinner and be prepared to celebrate the tapping of the Grand Prix Pilsner keg at 7:00 PM. If you haven’t attended a keg tapping party you won’t want to miss this one. The ceremony is followed by a parade of patrons, accompanied by the band.

Hofbräuhaus is the Official Bier of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and the new pilsner will be served at many of our Race Week functions. The Pilsner is brewed on the premises in the restaurant’s onsite microbrewery by brew master Shawn Setzenfand and his crew. Using an original recipe straight from Munich, Pilsner is described as a “smooth, crisp, and clean on the palate bier.”

It wouldn’t be a Grand Prix event without cars so we plan to have a few vintage race cars on hand – German ones of course!
